Frederika Jenner is in her second term as president of Delaware State Education Association. A Delaware teacher for 39 years, Jenner most recently taught sixth grade science at the H.B. du Pont Middle School in Hockessin, in the Red Clay Consolidated School District. This is her 43rd year in public education. Since 1972, she served in many capacities within her local DSEA affiliate, the Red Clay Education Association (RCEA). In 2007, she began a three-year term as president of RCEA, DSEA’s second-largest local affiliate, with 1,200 members. She also served on the DSEA Executive Board for three years. In August 2010, Governor Markell appointed her to the State Employee Benefits Advisory Committee. She is a 1972 graduate of Goucher College in Baltimore with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She holds a master’s degree in instruction from the University of Delaware.
