Leadership Team

Lisa A. Lawson, Ed.D., proudly serves as Deputy Superintendent for the Brandywine School District. She has served in various educational capacities for the past 28 years, including paraprofessional, teacher, special educator, coordinator, manager, principal, supervisor, director, and assistant superintendent among the Red Clay, Christina, and Brandywine School Districts. She is a lifelong Delaware resident and graduate of the Appoquinimink School District as well as three-time graduate of the University of Delaware. She serves currently as President of the Delaware Association of School Administrators (DASA). Her passions within the field lie within the realm of early childhood, literacy, special education and career and technical educational opportunities for historically underrepresented/underserved populations.
