October 28, 2015
7:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Eighth Annual Conference on Education, Moving Education in Delaware Forward, will take place on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 7:45 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Clayton Hall in Newark, Delaware.
For over a year, the Vision Coalition reflected on progress made since Vision 2015—in order to create a plan for the next 10 years. In September, the coalition released Student Success 2025,a 10-year vision for public education in Delaware, focused on the skills and attributes every educated Delawarean needs by 2025—and the strategies to achieve that vision.
The Eighth Annual Conference on Education, hosted by the Vision Coalition, will bring together voices from around the state and beyond for an engaging and interactive day focusing on the future of education in Delaware. Participants will form action groups, which will offer a critical opportunity to dig deeper into the recommendations in the plan, and discuss how we can work together to make these recommendations a reality.
Educators can receive scholarships and can earn five ongoing professional development credit hours. For more information, contact Nancy Millard at firstname.lastname@example.org.
